As per a brand-new leak, Casio appears to be adding another new set of models to its slimline Edifice lineup - all under the EFR-S108 reference with a distinctive textured dial. The new variants - EFR-S108DE-2A, EFR-S108DE-3A, and EFR-S108DE-8A - have been teased for a release window in late July or August.
While no official listings are live yet, the series has already been showcased in promotional material on Instagram and Bestwatch.ru. Each model comes in a brushed stainless-steel case and bracelet, paired with a dial that mimics a stone-like texture - available in shades of icy blue, emerald green, and silver-grey. Based on past releases, the EFR-S108 is part of Casio’s "Slimline" Edifice range, measuring just under 8mm thick despite its 100m water resistance and sapphire crystal.
Functionality-wise, the watch keeps it simple to say the least. It sports a date display and a classic three-hand layout without any chronograph or Bluetooth features. The emphasis here is on material quality and refined design rather than packed specs.
As evident by past releases, Casio is trying to populate its Edifice lineup with fashion-forward but affordable steel watches, as in, sporty proportions with a premium look. While the dial texture is still new for this series, the overall design is pretty consistent with earlier models like the EFR-S108D-7AV.
Pricing hasn't been confirmed, but given the materials and previous S108D listings, these are likely to fall under the sub-$150 bracket once launched globally.
We'll post an update to this story with official pricing and availability once the watches begin showing up in retail databases or Japanese pre-order listings.
