The Poco F8 Pro is set to launch soon after earning its NBTC certification, but a new leak suggests it may ship without a charger. What it will include, however, is Bose-tuned audio, marking a first for Poco and signaling a focus on refined sound quality.

The Poco F8 Pro has received its NBTC certification in Thailand, confirming that its launch is close. But a new leak suggests the phone might arrive without a charger in the box. The tip comes from Abhishek Yadav, who also shared an image of the device’s packaging showing a “Sound by Bose” logo.

The Bose branding marks Poco’s first collaboration with the audio company and supports reports that the F8 Pro could be a rebranded version of Xiaomi’s Redmi K90. Poco has often repackaged Redmi’s K-series phones for global markets, and the similarities here are hard to miss. If the leaks hold, the F8 Pro should feature a 6.59-inch 2K LTPO display running at 120 Hz, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The camera system is expected to include a 50 MP Light Hunter 800 main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2.5× optical zoom. A 20 MP front camera will handle selfies and video calls. Powering the setup will likely be a 7,100 mAh battery with 100 W charging, though buyers may need to purchase a compatible adapter separately.

Bose’s involvement is perhaps the most interesting part of this leak. Poco’s phones have typically offered decent sound, but a partnership with an established audio brand could deliver a more refined experience. Other expected features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IP68 and IP69 resistance, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. These details align the F8 Pro with upper-tier smartphones, even if its likely pricing remains more accessible.
