It seems Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Poco F8 series. The brand has started to officially tease the new smartphone lineup, and initially, it's expected to introduce two phones. As for when the launch is expected, the company has just teased that it's set for November 27, 2025.
One of the recent teasers has also hinted that the Poco F8 Ultra could be a rebrand of the Redmi K90 Pro Max for the global market. This is something that the past reports have already hinted at.
For those who missed our launch coverage, the Redmi K90 Pro Max comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is paired with up to 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. It sports a 6.9-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness rating of 3,500 nits. There's a 2.1 Bose stereo sound setup, triple 50 MP camera setup on the back, and a large 7,560 mAh battery with 100 W fast charging support (100 W Anker Prime charger curr. $49.99 on Amazon).
As for the Poco F8 Pro, it's expected to be a rebadged Redmi K90, which is a sub-flagship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. In China, this phone launched with a 6.59-inch display, 7,100 mAh battery, and a 2.5x telephoto camera on the back.
Regarding the standard phone of the upcoming lineup, it could be a rebadged version of the soon-to-launch Redmi Turbo 5 Pro. For reference, the vanilla Poco F7 was essentially a rebranded Turbo 4 Pro. Nonetheless, the standard phone of the Poco F8 lineup is expected to launch later, possibly in early 2026. Xiaomi will likely share more official details about this global smartphone series soon.
