Xiaomi continues to broaden the rollout of HyperOS 3, with the company having started offering versions of its latest OS to the Poco X7, Poco X7 Pro, Poco F7 Pro and the Poco F7 (curr. $519.99 on Amazon) at the end of last month. Incidentally, Xiaomi will soon be expanding its Android 16-based update to another 20 devices.
The company is not leaving devices whose software support is set to finish on Android 15, though. Instead, those that are not slated to receive the full Android 16 update remain in line for HyperOS 3. According to details shared within Mi Community testing logs, Xiaomi has now started internal beta testing for a dozen older smartphones sold under its Poco, Redmi and flagship Xiaomi brands.
Among those spotted so far from the Redmi series are the Redmi Note 12T Pro, Redmi Note 13 5G and the Redmi K60 Pro. By contrast, it seems that Xiaomi is preparing comparable updates for the Poco F5 Pro and the Poco X6 Neo. Moreover, Android 13-based HyperOS 3 updates are in the works for half a dozen older Xiaomi models like the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12S Pro, Xiaomi 12S Ultra and the Pad 6 Pro. Also, internal beta testing is underway for the Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 13 Lite, Civi 3 and MIX Fold 2 too. Unfortunately, it is unclear when all these devices will begin receiving stable HyperOS 3 updates.
