Nubia has now released the Z80 Ultra globally as part of an Early Bird launch campaign. Presented last month in China, the Z80 Ultra has arrived globally shortly after the RedMagic 11 Pro. However, the former does not compromise on battery capacity for its global edition, like its ZTE family cousin.
As such, the Z80 Ultra combines Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with a 7,200 mAh battery. Also, Nubia's latest smartphone boasts 80 W wireless and 90 W wired charging support, unlike more expensive flagship smartphones like the iPhone 17 Pro Max or the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $950 on Amazon).
Additionally, Nubia includes a 6.85-inch flat AMOLED display that outputs at 1,216 x 2,688 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness and without a punch hole or Dynamic Island for its 16 MP front-facing camera. The Nubia Z70 Ultra starts with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage globally. Alternatively, Nubia is offering its latest flagship with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of storage, with an eye-catching Starry Night edition bridging the price difference gap between these 16 GB RAM SKUs.
All pre-orders placed before November 18 will ship with complimentary charger and protective case accessories too. Moreover, one can apply Z80USAVE30 to deduct £20/€20/$30 from any SKU until December 2. On top of that, Nubia is offering its Z80 Ultra Retro Kit camera and its GamePad 2 controller accessories for £109/€149/$149 and £69/€99/$99, respectively. Full Nubia Z80 Ultra global launch pricing is as follows:
- 12 GB/256 GB storage - £579/€649/$649
- 16 GB/512 GB storage - £709/€799/$799
- 16 GB/512 GB storage (Starry Night) - £729/€829/$829
