Ulefone offers affordable rugged smartphones as part of its RugKing series, although these do not come with cutting-edge features. Be that as it may, the company has another smartphone in the pipeline, the RugKing 4 Pro, although precise information on price or availability is still pending. However, the release is planned for early December.
Entry-level features without 5G
Despite the 'Pro' in its name, the RugKing 4 Pro does not come with a 5G-capable SoC, but only a modest Unisoc T7250, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2. The storage can be further expanded via micro SD, even when the smartphone is used with two SIM cards, as there are three individual card slots available. Android 15 is installed as the operating system.
Robust build
The smartphone, measuring 178.6 x 84 x 19.2 millimeters, is not only designed to withstand drops from heights of up to 2 meters, but is also advertised with IP68 and IP69K certifications. Ulefone uses a 6.56-inch screen with a resolution of only 720 x 1,612, which is said to offer a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 500 cd/m².
Large battery, mediocre charging speeds
The device has a 48 MP main camera, but users will have to do without a night vision camera. The battery, on the other hand, has a capacity of 10,200 mAh or 39.47 Wh and can be charged at up to 18 watts.
