The OnePlus Pad Go was one of OnePlus' first affordable tablets to surface in 2023. Its successor didn't arrive the following year, but an earlier leak foretold its imminent arrival. Now, we get some new information about its innards via a new Geekbench listing.
It arrives with the OnePlus OPD2504 nametag and what looks like a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with four P-cores at 2.5 GHz, four E-cores at 2.0 GHz, an Arm Mali-G615 MC2 GPU and 8 GB of system memory. It scores 1065 and 3149 in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests, which is on par with the Dimensity 7300's average score.
Unlike its predecessor, which was limited to 4G connectivity due to its ageing Helio SoC, the newer Dimensity chips allow 5G functionality on the OnePlus Pad Go 2. Other specs include a 12-inch 2.8K panel with 900 nits peak brightness, stylus support and up to 256 GB of storage. OnePlus is expected to unveil the Pad Go 2 on December 17 alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered OnePlus 15R.
