Xiaomi has offered an early insight into its global launch plans for the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27U. For context, the company introduced the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27U this spring as a successor to the Redmi Display G Pro 27 from last February. Meanwhile, just over a year has passed since Xiaomi released the latter globally as the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27i.
Incidentally, Xiaomi dovetailed this variant with the likes of the G24i and G27i (curr. $149 on Amazon), among other more budget-oriented gaming monitors. Now, the company has confirmed that it will soon be following up the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27i with the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026. Only listed on its global website for now, the latter actually departs from the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27U in crucial areas.
For instance, the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 outputs at 1440p and 180 Hz rather than 4K and 160 Hz like the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27U. Nonetheless, the 27-inch IPS panel still delivers 1 ms GtG response times with AMD FreeSync support. Moreover, Xiaomi installs features like a circular rear lighting array, a retractable headphone holder, four video outputs and an ergonomic stand.
Also, the company claims that 1,152 local dimming zones help the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 achieve up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness while maintaining 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 colour spaces. Please note that this peak brightness value will only be true across small areas when HDR mode is enabled. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has elaborated further in this regard. Pricing remains unknown for now, although the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27i launched last September with a $329.99 MSRP. More details about the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 can be found on Xiaomi's global website.
