It seems that Xiaomi plans to release at least two new gaming monitors globally later this year. For reference, the company has already released plenty of gaming monitors so far in China, including the Redmi Monitor G Pro 27U. Now, it has decided to refresh the Gaming Monitor G24i and Gaming Monitor G27i with 2026 editions.
For context, Xiaomi last introduced new Gaming Monitor G24i and Gaming Monitor G27i (curr. $149.99 on Amazon) generations about a year ago. While those pair differed in terms of refresh rate, Xiaomi has harmonised both sizes in this regard for their 2026 editions. Specifically, both the Gaming Monitor G24i 2026 and Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 output at up to 200 Hz for slightly smoother gameplay than their predecessors.
Moreover, Xiaomi claims that the pair offer 1 ms GtG response times across their IPS panels, which it complements with AMD's FreeSync Premium variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. Although a 1080p resolution remains on both monitors, Xiaomi claims that they are factory colour calibrated to ΔE<2 with 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and up to 400 nits peak brightness. The pair's port selection is limited though, with just DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5 mm jack.
