The Asus ROG NUC (2025) has taken a rather long-winded route to market. Announced in January during CES 2025, Asus initially claimed that its gaming-focused mini-PC would be available with Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra 9 processors and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU. However, when the ROG NUC (2025) finally arrived in May, it was only available with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and a GeForce RTX 5080.
Gradually, Asus has been expanding availability and adding more SKUs. For example, earlier this week the company released cheaper options in China that combined the Core Ultra 7 255HX and GeForce RTX 5060 or Core Ultra 9 275HX and GeForce RTX 5070. Shortly beforehand, Asus indicated that these SKUs would also be available globally, albeit without stating when.
Now, both SKUs have started popping up at European retailers for less than their MSRPs. For context, Asus claimed that the GeForce RTX 5060 and GeForce RTX 5070 variants would reach the Eurozone for €2,218 and €2,621, respectively. The former can already be picked up for as little as €1,839 though, while the latter is being sold for €2,169 at the time of publication.
Meanwhile, Asus has added the GeForce RTX 5070 variant to its US website with a $2,499 list price. Although not available through its website just yet, the same SKU can now be ordered on Amazon US for the same price with an Core Ultra 9 275HX, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. With that being said, the more powerful GeForce RTX 5070 Ti variant has now dropped to $2,349 from $2,799 on the same platform. Please see Asus' website for more information.
