Asus has finally released the ROG NUC 2025, over a year after it started selling its 2024 sibling. To recap, the original ROG NUC combines up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU (curr. $1,693 on Amazon). By contrast, the ROG NUC 2025 swaps both for considerably more powerful components.
On the one hand, the new mini-PC leverages the Core Ultra 9 275HX for a 50% CPU performance boost. On the other hand, the adoption of an RTX 5080 laptop GPU should see the ROG NUC 2025 achieving even better gaming gains. On top of that, the ROG NUC 2025 features two CSO-DIMM and M.2 2280 slots apiece and the following ports within a 282.4 x 187.7 x 56.5 mm and 3.12 kg housing:
- 1x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DC-in
- 2x DisplayPort 2.1
- 2x HDMI 2.1 FRL
- 1x Kensington lock
- 1x Thunderbolt 4
- 6x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps)
- 1x USB 3.2 Type-C
Unfortunately, Asus has still not confirmed when the ROG NUC 2025 will be available in North America, Europe and other markets. For the time being, the mini-PC can only be picked up as the RNUC15JNK9X28AA6 with 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD for CNY 24,999 (~$3,475) from JD.com. Please see Asus' website for more details.
