Almost three months have passed since Aokzoe first teased that it had a mini-PC in the works. At the time, the company shared a handful of product images, albeit all showing the device from the same side. Additionally, it outlined that the unnamed device would feature the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, which is fast becoming the new processor of choice for powerful gaming-oriented mini-PCs like the GMKtec EVO-X2.
About six weeks later, Aokzoe teased that it would be releasing its gaming mini-PC globally. However, it elected against elaborating further on its earlier Weibo post. Instead, it officially released its A1X gaming handheld, which combines OCuLink connectivity with an 8-inch VRR display a 72.7 Wh battery, a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU and 64 GB RAM (curr. $1,749 on Amazon).
Now, it seems that Aokzoe has settled on a name for its first mini-PC. Seemingly, the device will launch as the Aokzoe Mini PC rather than adopting more original branding. Nonetheless, the device is still set to arrive globally with a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU. Moreover, the company has now confirmed that the Aokzoe Mini PC features rear-facing pors like Ethernet, DisplayPort and HDMI to complement the SD card reader, 3.5 mm jack and USB Type-C ports shown on the device's front panel. Unfortunately, Aokzoe is still leaving fans in the dark about when or how much its first mini-PC will cost.
