Geekom has released the A9 Max ahead of schedule. To recap, the company began teasing a new mini-PC earlier this month. Seemingly, that mysterious mini-PC is actually the A9 Max. However, the mini-PC now shown differs in its front I/O from the one that Geekom initially showcased.
Officially, Geekom will launch the A9 Max on August 21. For some reason, the Geekom A9 Max is already available to purchase from Amazon and Geekom directly with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU, 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of M.2 2280 storage. Moreover, the mini-PC features the following ports within a 135 x 132 x 45.6 mm housing:
- 2x 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DC input
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 1x Kensington lock slot
- 1x SD card reader
- 2x USB 4 (DP Alt Mode) (1x Power Delivery)
- 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 5x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
On top of that, the A9 Max features dual SODIMM slots for up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM, with single M.2 2230 and M.2 2280 slots also on hand to support PCIe 4.0 SSDs. Currently, the Geekom A9 Max retails for $1,199 with a Windows 11 Pro licence included. Please see Geekom's website for more details.
