The mini PC specialist Geekom is expanding its portfolio and venturing into the laptop market with the new GeekBook X14 Pro. At IFA 2025, the company already showcased two particularly lightweight laptops that aim to impress with their elegant design, powerful performance, and premium materials.
The new GeekBook X series includes two models: the GeekBook X14 Pro and the GeekBook X16 Pro. Both notebooks feature the latest Intel Core Ultra processors and a sturdy full-metal chassis made of magnesium alloy, which ensures durability and keeps the device extremely lightweight.
A 120 Hz display provides smooth visuals and strikes a balance between longevity and visual performance. However, the real highlight of the display is its OLED technology combined with a 2.8K resolution. In addition, the manufacturer claims 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, making the laptop well-suited even for professional users.
Under the hood, the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 225H or Core Ultra 9 285H processors (Arrow Lake) are at work, with a TDP of up to 35 watts. Despite its compact design, Geekom hasn’t held back when it comes to equipping the laptops with practical connectivity options. Two USB-C ports with USB 4 support, a USB-A port, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack cover all the essential interfaces. For wireless connections, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 are available.
With the GeekBook X14 Pro and X16 Pro, Geekom is opening a new chapter, proving that the manufacturer is capable of more than just making compact desktop PCs. Whether Geekom can live up to what the technical specs promise remains to be seen. A detailed review of the GeekBook X14 Pro will follow once the test device arrives at our facilities. An exact release date is not yet known.
