A few months have now passed since Geekom refreshed its A6 mini-PC with a matte pink colour option (curr. $449 on Amazon). Since then, rivals like Asus, Beelink, GMKtec and Minisforum have arguably got ahead of Geekom with numerous powerful mini-PC options. In the case of Asus for example, it has just released the NUC 15 Performance and ROG NUC (2025) globally with discrete Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 GPU options too.
Now though, Geekom has confirmed that it has a new mini-PC up its sleeve that it will be fully unveiling before the end of the month. Specifically, the company has revealed that the currently unnamed device will arrive on August 21 at 17:00 UTC. While Geeekom has not provided hardware details yet, a few can be gleaned.
For instance, it has outlined that the mini-PC will focus on gaming rather than as a productivity device. Moreover, Geekom has indicated that the 'next-gen AI Gaming PC' will utilise an AMD chipset. As a result, the likes of Lonely City Hardware speculate that Geekom will opt for an AMD Strix Halo APU, possibly the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 that can also be found inside the new OneXPlayer Super X. To that end, the ports on Geekom's mystery mini-PC suggest it is wider than many competing options with lower wattage processors.
