Beelink has recently introduced a new mini PC in China, the GTR9 Pro. It's powered by the top-of-the-line AMD Strix Halo APU, and now, the system is available in the global market. The company is also offering a limited-time pre-sale discount, making the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 computer available to pre-order at $1,985.
This is a notable discount from the $2,399 listed price tag, but Beelink hasn't disclosed when the pre-sale period will end. It's also worth noting that there's only one configuration available at the moment, and it comes with 128 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 2 TB of storage.
That is, unlike the GMKtec EVO-X2, there aren't any cheaper configurations available at the moment for this new Beelink Strix Halo mini PC with Mac Studio-like design. Regarding the performance, as we have noted in our last coverage, the company claims that the GTR9 Pro can operate at 140 W TDP, and to keep the system cool during heavy loads, there's an MSC 2.0 cooling setup.
With the Radeon 8060S, this Strix Halo mini PC stands as a capable system for gaming. As we have concluded in our analysis, this iGPU is on par with the Nvidia RTX 4070 Laptop, and Beelink notes that the GTR9 Pro can handle demanding AAA titles with ease.
Another highlight of this new AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 mini PC is the port selection. To be precise, it comes with the following ports:
- 2x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 2x 10 Gbps LAN
- 1x DisplayPort 2.1
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 2x USB 4
- 1x 10 Gbps Type-C
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
- 1x SD 4.0 card slot
Among the other highlights are WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, quad-display output support, up to 8 TB storage support, a built-in fingerprint sensor with Windows Hello, and an integrated 230 W PSU. You can learn more about the Beelink GTR9 Pro from the complete spec sheet attached below.
