Ninkear is launching a new compact desktop PC called the L12 Pro. It is available directly from the manufacturer for $693, which supposedly is a discounted launch offer. Shipping times vary depending on the location, but EU-based buyers won’t have to worry about possible import fees or taxes.
Thanks to the Intel Core i9-12900HK, this new mini PC should also satisfy users with high demands on, even though this is not one of Intel’s latest processors. A dedicated graphics card is not available, so this device is not particularly well-suited for gamers, and external GPUs are not supported either. That said, the Ninkear L12 Pro comes with 32GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD. For many use cases, the slightly outdated and therefore slower SSD should not make a noticeable difference.
Furthermore, the mini PC offers two Ethernet ports with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gbps. In order to take advantage of this, users will need a corresponding router. The same applies to the WiFi 6 connections, which supports the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands.
Additionally, Ninkear’s new mini PC supports three high-resolution monitors. One 4K screen can be hooked up via DisplayPort, while the other two can be connected via HDMI and USB Type-C. On the front and back, there are two more USB 3.0 Type-A ports, while the front sports a practical 3.5mm audio jack. The PC measures 5.1 x 5.0 x 2.0 inches and is powered by a conventional barrel plug, USB PD is apparently not supported. The latter would be able to send video signals to and receive power from a monitor with just one cable.
