Acemagic recently revealed that the F5A will be available from September 2025. Ahead of the planned launch timeline, the company has started to take pre-orders for this new AMD Strix Point mini PC, and those who place an order before August 31 can enjoy a hefty $130 off the already discounted pre-sale price with the code ACEFANF5A.
With the exclusive promotional discount code, the barebone config of the F5A drops to $639, making the mini PC cheaper than some of the other AMD Strix Point options available. There are two more configurations available for this Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-powered system, which are as follows:
- 32 GB of RAM with a 1 TB SSD - pre-sale price is $909 ($779 with the code)
- 64 GB of RAM with a 2 TB SSD - pre-sale price is $1,139 ($1,009 with the code)
As we have recently covered, the Acemagic F5A stands as a slightly upgraded model of the F3A, which got a relatively good score in our in-depth review. The main upgrade is the addition of the OCuLink port, which makes the new mini PC a better pick for those who want to use an eGPU (Minisforum DEG1 dock curr. $99.90 on Amazon).
Of course, on its own, the F5A is already capable of smoothly handling modern AAA games. Thanks to the Radeon 890M iGPU, it can run most heavyweight titles at around 60 FPS with some tweaks on the visual settings and the resolution set at 1080p.
Acemagic also highlights that the F5A features an improved cooling system, featuring two fans and heat sinks on SSDs. There is a decent selection of connectivity ports, and the mini PC comes with WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 as well. Check out the pictures attached below to learn more.
