Four new Casio Edifice watches are expected to launch in more European countries. These EFV-160D analog timepieces were first spotted at the brand’s online store in the UK, where they are currently out of stock.
More recently, Casio has listed the EFV-160D-1AV (black dial), EFV-160D-2AV (blue dial), EFV-160D-3AV (green dial) and EFV-160D-7AV (silver dial) watches on its websites in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. Here, they will retail for €99.90. While the product listings do not indicate the release date of these timepieces, they are marked as ‘coming soon’. If you are interested in these watches, you can sign up for the Casio mailing list to be notified of their launch.
The Casio Edifice EFV-160D watches each feature the Clous de Paris motif on the dial, an embossed pattern of small pyramids. These timepieces have a 10 mm (~0.4 inches) thick stainless casing, measuring 40 x 47.5 mm (~1.6 x 1.9 inches) across, with slightly domed glass for enhanced visibility. Plus, they are water resistant to 10 bar, and the new style of metal band is said to be particularly comfortable.
Casio’s Edifice EFV-160D series watches have three analog hands indicating the hour, minute and second. They are said to remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month, and the dial also features a basic date display. They have a Screw Lock Back and should run for around three years on an SR920SW. Whether or when the Casio Edifice EFC-160D watches could be released in the US is unclear.
