Casio releasing new G-Shock GA2100AB25-5A watch with bull bars soon

Casio's new G-Shock x Baklava GA2100AB25-5A watch is launching soon. Announced earlier this year, the GA2100 "Desert King" was designed in collaboration with Action Bronson, the rapper and presenter who founded Baklava.

The Casio G-Shock GA2100AB25-5A watch is now listed on the Casio online store in the US with a $200 RRP. In a recent Baklava Instagram post, it was announced that the timepiece would go on sale on August 21st at 10 AM EST at specializinginlife.com. It is unclear whether or not the watch will also be available at the Casio online store from the same time.

The new G-Shock GA2100AB25-5A has a black watch face with a white pattern, surrounded by a semi-translucent brown resin bezel. There are black bull bars and a black cloth strap, with the watch measuring 48.5 x 45.4 x 13.2 mm (~1.9 x 1.8 x 0.5 inches). This hybrid timepiece has a Carbon Core Guard structure, is water resistant to 200 m and should run for around three years on the supplied battery.

Features of the GA2100AB25-5A include support for world time, a 24-hour range countdown timer, multiple alarms and a 1/100th second stopwatch. There are two analog watch hands, a weekday indicator dial and a small red LCD display with backlight. At the time of writing, Casio has not announced plans to release the G-Shock x Baklava Desert King GA2100AB25-5A watch in markets other than the US.
