Rapper and celebrity Action Bronson has just given fans a first look at an upcoming G-Shock collaboration via his Instagram (@bambambaklava). The limited-edition watch, dubbed the Baklava x G-Shock Desert King, features a tan bezel and a bold dial layout. From the images, it looks to be based on the popular GA-2100 "CasiOak" model.
While Casio hasn't made an official announcement yet, the photos shared by Bronson show off a custom caseback engraved with "Baklava Worldwide" and a stylized world map, which is a signature of his personal brand. The text confirms it uses the 5611 module, which aligns it with standard GA-2100 specs like a carbon core guard structure, 20-bar water resistance, and shock resistance.
The dial design is quite striking in fact, with a mix of matte black, red, and mustard yellow elements, plus a crosshair-like grid pattern over the analog face - something not found on any regular GA-2100 release. The watch also seems to come with a fabric strap, rather than the usual resin. Plus, very few mustard-colored watches have been released by Casio as of late, so that's a unique factor as well.
Bronson, known for his love of streetwear and wrestling, referred to the model as the "Desert King" in his caption. He’s also hinted that more updates are on the way, likely confirming release details soon, since this was merely a promotional post to boost the anticipation around the collab.
