The Casio G-Shock GMA-P2100SA-1A1, GMA-P2100SA-1A2, GMA-S120SA-7A1, and GMA-S120SA-7A2 watches are now available to pre-order in Japan. These wearables have a sporty design with Neobrite hands to make the watch easier to read at night.
The GMA-P2100SA hybrid watches have a black watch face surrounded by an octagonal bezel with a matching black resin strap. There is a smaller inset digital display with a dark background and light figures. Features include support for 31 world time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, multiple daily alarms and a double LED white backlight. While the GMA-P2100SA-1A has yellow accents, the GMA-P2100SA-2A has red elements.
The GMA-S120SA are also hybrid watches, though they feature two smaller digital displays and an indicator dial. This model supports 29 world time zones with a Home City function, and it is antimagnetic. Here, features include a 1/1000-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, five alarms and an amber LED backlight. Both are completely white watches with a chunky round bezel. The only non-white elements are the watch hands and dial indicator, which are orange for the GMA-S120SA-7A1 and blue for the GMA-S120SA-7A2.
All four watches are shock-resistant, water resistant to 20 ATM, and have a three-year battery life estimate. The Casio G-Shock GMA-P2100SA-1A1 and GMA-P2100SA-1A2 watches are available to pre-order in Japan for ¥17,600 (~$122). The Casio G-Shock GMA-S120SA-7A1 and GMA-S120SA-7A2 watches can also be pre-ordered, though at the slightly higher price of ¥18,700 (~$130). Whether or when these watches could launch in other markets like the US is unclear.
