The British brand Farer has unveiled the Lissom watch collection globally. Like the previous Farer watches, the company’s new collection also features stand-out color dials and distinct numeral styles. This time around, Farer has added five color options to the collection, all named after famous botanists. To be more precise, the first color is Arber, which is a raspberry-red dial with a purple seconds display and purple minute track. The second model is the Balfour, which features a white dial and warm gray seconds sub-dial.
The Forrest is the third model, coming with a teal-green dial complemented by a black minute track with peach-colored numerals. The fourth one is the Lindley model, offering a striking dark purple dial with blue sub-dial and minute track. The last one is the monochromatic Solander. It comes in a black dial with white hands and numerals.
All models in the Lissom collection feature a 38 mm 316L stainless steel case, which is just 7.95 mm (0.31 inches) thick. Speaking about dials, each Lissom model has a lightly grained textured dial complemented by a slightly sunken seconds sub-dial and a recessed outer minute track. However, there are no date or day complications here. Farer also offers dial-matching suede straps for three models, while the remaining two, the Balfour and the Forrest, come with blue and sand-colored suede straps, matching their respective numeral styles.
Around the back of the Lissom is the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret D100 manual-winding caliber, topped by a sapphire crystal with two layers of antireflective coating. The Swiss-made La Joux-Perret D100 movement runs at a 3 Hz frequency, features 18 jewels, and offers up to 50 hours of power reserve. Furthermore, the timepiece comes with 50 meters (5 ATM) of water resistance.
The Farer Lissom starts at $1,295/ £1,150/ €1,350 and is now available for pre-order via Farer’s official website, with shipping beginning on June 12th.
