The German brand Sinn has unveiled a pair of new diving chronographs, the Sinn 613 St and the 613 St UTC. Both timepieces have very similar specs, albeit with a few tweaks. For example, the Sinn 613 St comes with a day-date complication, while the 613 St UTC variant adds another layer of complication with a second time zone while ditching the day complication.
The Sinn 613 St UTC sports a 41 mm bead-blasted stainless steel case with an unidirectional 60-minute bezel, a right-positioned screw-down, pushers with the D3 system, and a date window at the 3 position. With a matte black dial, a white chronograph subdial at 6 o’clock, and a second subdial—black with light gray borders and numerals at 9 o’clock—the 613 St UTC embodies Sinn’s recognizable principle of design.
Furthermore, there’s also a Sinn’s Ar-Dehumidifying Technology logo at 4, indicating that the 613 St UTC comes with the proprietary anti-fogging technology. The matte black dial is complemented by clean white lumed hands and large painted luminous markers, which ensure better visibility even in darker conditions. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal sits atop the dial to protect it from accidental scratches and falls.
The 613 St UTC is powered by Sinn’s in-house Calibre SZ02, which provides 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound. This movement is the modified version of the Sellita SW515 and runs at 28,800 vibrations/hour. Speaking of modifications, Sinn has integrated a 60-minute recorder and the UTC function into the movement. Additionally, magnetic field protection up to 100 mT (80,000 A/m) effectively prevents magnetizations. With a water resistance up to 500 m (~50 bar), the timepiece is built to withstand every water adventure.
The Sinn 613 St UTC is available for purchase via Sinn from €2,950 for a leather/silicon strap or €3,300 for a bead-blasted solid stainless steel bracelet. For more details, head over to the 613 St UTC’s official product page.
