New Casio Vintage A1100GV stainless-steel watches are now live for preorder
Casio’s A1100GGV-8JF (silver) and A1100GV-9JF (gold) watches are now officially up for preorder in Japan, following their earlier leaks in February. Part of the brand’s premium Vintage lineup, these models are a neat, full-metal take on the classic 52QS-14B CasioTron from the 1970s, which is a well-revered timepiece.
The A1100GV series keeps the same retro-inspired digital layout but introduces a brushed metal case and bracelet with a more seamless, monochrome finish. The mirrored dial gives it a sleeker, modern look, while the compact 40 × 35 × 9.1 mm size should make it pretty lightweight on the wrist.

- Material: Stainless steel with gold or silver plating
- Display: Digital with mineral glass protection
- Functions: Stopwatch (1/10 sec, 60 min), alarm, auto-calendar
- Water Resistance: Daily splash resistance (not for swimming)

While Casio hasn’t called these a limited release, the A1100GV series does fall into the brand’s higher-end Vintage category, meaning preorders could sell out before the official March 2025 launch. If you want to lock in a piece of Casio’s retro digital heritage, now might be a great time.
