Casio’s A1100GV-8 (silver) and A1100GV-9 (gold) have turned up in a new leak, with a refined retro digital design and full-metal dial borders. These premium vintage-inspired models may see an official launch soon.

Regardless of how much tech Casio loads their G-Shock models with, the company's classic watches, such as the Vintage series models, will always retain their charm and aura. Now, we have a fresh look at two new Casio Vintage models from the A1100GV series, courtesy of @geesgshock on Instagram. These models are special, since they feature both Casio’s signature retro aesthetic alongside a more premium feel. They are equipped with a digital display and a full-metal case. The two variants—A1100GV-8 in silver and A1100GV-9 in gold—are essentially a more refined take on the classic 52QS-14B CasioTron, pictured below:

Undoubtedly, the standout element of these models is the full-metal dial border, which renders a sleeker and more premium look compared to previous A1100 releases. The case and bracelet are finished in a brushed metal style as well.

Based on the A1100 lineup’s previous iterations, these watches are expected to come with basic digital functionalities, including a stopwatch, alarm, date display, and LED backlight. The water resistance rating is likely to be around 30 meters. Their compact form factor, which gets rid of the buttons towards the edges of the watch, indicates that they will appeal to those who prefer slimmer, more lightweight digital watches.

Recently, multiple Casio watches have surfaced in leaks, including the GM-110D series. While Casio has not officially announced these models yet, a formal launch seems to be just around the corner. Given that previous A1100 releases have been well-received, these additions are likely to be sought after by both collectors and daily users.
