Casio has three new additions to its Standard lineup with the MRW-230H series, now live on the official Casio website. The new collection features three distinct models: MRW-230H-1E1V (black bezel), MRW-230H-1E2V, and MRW-230H-1E3V (green bezel).
The standout feature of the MRW-230H models is they have a marine-inspired design - a rotating timer bezel with an aluminum ring on the top surface. This adds not only a bold, eye-catching touch to the watch, but also a pretty functional one, especially for timing activities. The models differ primarily in bezel color schemes.
All three models come with 100-meter water resistance (10 bar), making them suitable for swimming and other light water activities. They feature a resin case paired with an aluminum bezel. The resin glass and resin band contribute to the overall weight of just 39 grams.
In terms of size, the MRW-230H series measures 47.9 × 44.6 × 12.3 mm, so it should fit comfortably on various wrist sizes. The watches are powered by an SR626SW battery, with an estimated 3-year battery life. Additionally, the analog display includes three hands (hour, minute, second) along with a day-date display.
The new MRW series watches are expected to be launched sometime this February, although an exact release date hasn't been revealed yet. Pricing-wise, they will likely be on the more affordable side.
