Two new Casio G-Shock Baby-G watches have been launched in Japan, the BGA-2510SP-7AJR and the BGR-3003SP-7JR. These models are both in the Spring Package 2025 range, with an accompanying storage pouch.
These Baby-G Spring Package models are known as Radio Solar watches; they have Tough Solar charging and are radio-controlled with Multiband 6 in North America, Europe, Japan and China. Other similarities include an LED backlight, which helps you to read the dial in low lighting, a power-saving feature, and low battery warnings.
The BGA-2510SP-7AJR is a hybrid model with a hands shift function to enable you to read the smaller digital displays. It has a white resin casing and strap with a light blue watch face. It is water resistant to 10 ATM, and offers 48 world time zones. Other features include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 100-minute countdown time and five daily alarms. The battery life estimate is seven months with typical use or 18 months in power-saving mode.
The BGR-3003SP-7JR is a digital watch with the same white resin casing and strap but with the addition of a blue aluminum bezel. There is increased water resistance to 20 ATM, and users can choose up to five world time zones to cycle between. Again, there is a 1/100-second stopwatch alongside a 24-hour countdown timer and five alarms. The battery life is also upgraded on this model, with an estimated 11 months of typical use or 22 months in power-saving mode.
You can now buy the Casio G-Shock Baby-G BGA-2510SP-7AJR and BGR-3003SP-7JR watches in Japan for ¥24,200 (~$160) and ¥22,000 (~$145), respectively. Whether or when these products could launch in other markets like North America or Europe is unclear. Older models, like the Casio BGR-3003U-7AJF, are available via importers at Amazon US (curr. $129.99).
