Casio has added a special model to its lineup with the Casio GMA-P2125W-6A. The soft purple analog-digital G-Shock comes with a special mimosa motif to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, an effort by the United Nations to promote equality, empowerment, and rights for all women across the globe.
The bold hour and minute hands are accompanied by a digital sub-dial located between the three and six o'clock section of the dial, giving the watch a cleaner appearance that isn't too cluttered for the office. When the Super Illuminator double-LED white light shines across the digital display, mimosa flowers appear. The display provides access to features that include 31-zone world time, stopwatch, timer, and five alarms. Mineral glass protects the quartz movement, which is rated for accurate timekeeping to +/- 15 seconds per month.
The cute watch has a 46 x 40.2 mm (1.8 x 1.6 in.) case with a 11.2 mm (0.4 in.) thickness, resulting in a compact G-Shock for smaller wrists measuring between 145 to 190 mm (5.7 to 7.5 in.). The 40 g (1.4 oz.) watch is equipped with a bio-based resin band, 200 m (656 ft.) water resistance, and the durability all G-Shocks are known for. This allows the watch to go from daily wear to exercise and sports use without worry.
The watch will be released in March 2025 and will likely be available for purchase from the Casio store on Amazon. The Casio GMA-P2125W-6AJR Japanese version has an MSRP of 18,700 (~$125). Pricing of the Casio GMA-P2125W worldwide version has not been announced.
