Casio has finally brought its G-Shock DW-6900TR series to the US. Featuring classic colors, metal accents, and bio-based resin, these $120 models are now available for purchase.

Casio has officially launched the G-Shock DW-6900TR series in the United States. This marks the next phase of its 30th-anniversary tribute to the DW-6900 line, since these models had previously been released in select international markets. Now US buyers can finally get their hands on them.

The DW-6900TR-1 (black), DW-6900TR-4 (red), and DW-6900TR-9 (yellow) are a nod to the first-ever color variations introduced in the DW-6900H back in 1995. Each of these models carries forward the classic round form, which is now updated with modern materials and a few commemorative details. Given below are all the new changes in the series:

  • Metallic Front Button: The signature 6900 front button now features a metallic finish with a "G" engraving.
  • Backlight Anniversary Detail: When the LED backlight is activated, the phrase "Since 1995" appears on the screen.
  • Case Back Engraving: The “Shock Resist” logo is now surrounded by 30 stars, representing 30 years of the DW-6900 lineup.
  • Bio-Based Resin Materials: The band, bezel, and case are all made from bio-based resin.

Each model features a 53.2 × 50 × 18.7 mm case, 200-meter water resistance, mineral glass, and a 5-year battery life. Functions include a multi-function alarm, countdown timer, 1/100-second stopwatch, and hourly time signal, all powered by a CR2016 battery. The watches are priced at $120 USD per model.
