Casio has officially released the Edifice EFR-575D-1A, EFR-575D-2A, Casio EFR-575CL-3A and EFR-575L-7A chronographs in Europe. These watches leaked at the start of this year and appeared at several of the brand’s online stores in late February.
You can now buy these models in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and France. The Casio EFR-575D-1A and EFR-575D-2A chronographs, with black and blue dials, respectively, stainless steel casing and bracelet, cost €119. The Casio EFR-575L-7A, a similar model with a cream face, stainless steel case and brown leather strap, is also priced at €119. The Casio EFR-575CL-3A is more expensive at €139 due to its gold ion-plated case, which also features a green background and is accompanied by a black leather band.
The EFR-575 chronographs have three hands for the hour, minute and second, with the time said to remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month. There are three dials: one marks the hour according to military time, while the other two show the minutes and seconds for the stopwatch feature. Also shown is the day (number) of the month.
The watch face is protected by domed watch glass, and the models are water resistant to 100m. Plus, Casio estimates that the chronographs will run for around two years on an SR920SW battery. The company has yet to announce plans to launch these four Edifice EFR-575 chronographs in other markets, such as the US and the UK.
