Casio G-Shock GA-2100AS hybrid watches now available in Europe

The Casio G-Shock GA-2100AS-2A and GA-2100AS-5A watches are now available in Europe. These are two of the four models in the Oasis of Day and Night range, which launched in Japan last month.

The hybrid G-Shock GA-2100 Series watches have a Carbon Core Guard structure for enhanced toughness and are waterproof up to 20 bar. They can display the time for 48 cities worldwide, with a fully automatic calendar up to the year 2099. Tools include a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer for up to 24 hours and five daily alarms. 

Plus, there is a dual LED backlight for the dial and inset digital display, helping you to read the watch in low lighting. Casio estimates that the two SR726W batteries allow the watch to run for up to three years. The GA-2100AS-2A has a navy blue resin case and strap, while the GA-2100AS-5A is beige, inspired by desert sand. Both have blue-green accents, said to represent the lake of the oasis.

You can now buy the Casio G-Shock GA-2100AS-2A and GA-2100AS-5A watches in European countries like the Netherlands, France and Spain for €119. It is unclear when these two models will launch in other markets like the US or the UK. Plus, it remains to be seen whether or not the other Oasis of Day and Night models, the GA-110AS-2A and the GA-110AS-5A, could arrive in any of these countries.
