The Casio G-Shock GMAP2125W-6A analog-digital watch to mark International Women’s Day is now available. This global celebration taking place on March 8th commemorates the achievements of women while serving as a call for women’s equality.
You can now buy the GMAP2125W-6A via third-party retailers. In Canada, you can buy the watch from WatchIt for CA$139. In the EU, where it is known as the GMA-P2125W-6A, the watch is available at helveti for €102.90. Casio announced this model several days ago, and it has since revealed that the official RRP for this model is $99.00/€99.90. It is unclear why the company has not officially released the model ahead of International Women's Day.
The Casio G-Shock GMAP2125W-6A is a shock-resistant hybrid watch with a light purple resin casing and band. It offers 200 m water resistance and has an estimated battery life of three years, running on a CR1025. Features include support for world time across 48 cities, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer with a 24-hour range and five daily alarms.
A double LED backlight illuminates the anaolg dial and smaller digital display, with a mimosa flower shown on the background of the latter. Plus, a hand shift tool ensures that the digital display is not obstructed by the physical watch hands. It remains to be seen when Casio will officially launch the G-Shock GMAP2125W-6A or GMA-P2125W-6A watch.
