Casio has launched a series of watch stands, holders, and a display case for G-Shock watch enthusiasts to proudly display their collections.
The highlight of the series is the G-Shock Collection Display Set with a bold 'G' on both ends of the display case. The $199 MSRP case has the G-Shock logo imprinted on top of the stainless steel body, with a flip open acrylic cover. The translucent top allows for solar charging. Three watch mounts made of acrylic, steel, MDF and covered in cloth made from polyurethane and nylon are included. The case weighs a substantial 2,490 g (5.49 lbs.).
The series also includes watch holders designed for one or two G-Shock watches. These smaller holders have the G-Shock logo imprinted at the steel base and are made from acrylic, steel, MDF, and cloth made from polyurethane and nylon. The single-watch holder has an MSRP of $35 and weighs 270 g (9.52 oz.). The dual-watch holder has an MSRP of $45 and weighs 430 g (15.2 oz.).
The basic C-shaped watch stands come in a set of two with the G-Shock logo imprinted at the base. These are made from acrylic, with the C-mounts coated in protective resin. The stand set has an MSRP of $25 and weighs 50.5 g (1.78 oz.) each.
Readers who are just starting out with collecting G-Shock watches can consider adding the analog 50th anniversary GMC-B2100ZE-1A in black and gold or the digital GPRH1000-1 in black. Those who want a premium G-Shock can consider the MRG-BF1000RG in Goliath frog green.
