The upcoming Casio G-Shock GW-BX5600 watch appears to have been revealed in leaked images. Rumors about this model began earlier this year, suggesting that it would have a carbon bezel, Bluetooth connectivity and Tough Solar charging.
These supposedly leaked images seem to confirm some of these features and unveil the GW-BX5600’s design. Shared on Reddit, they originate from a post on the Chinese social media site RedNote (Xiaohongshu). The first image (below) shows a square digital watch with a black casing and strap. It seems to have a positive (light background) memory-in-pixel (MIP) display, surrounded by a purple or black frame.
The words Tough Solar and Bluetooth are shown on the GW-BX5600’s face, confirming the earlier rumors. Plus, a second image (below) appears to show versions of the watch face with different versions of the numbers. This picture shows standard layouts with the time, year, weekday and date. There are also screens shown supporting dual and triple world time zones.
Casio’s G-Shock GW-BX5600 is not expected to launch until 2026. The pricing of this model also remains a mystery; as a rough guide, the G-Shock Move DWH5600MB1A4, a model with an MIP LCD, Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth connectivity, retails for $320 in the US.
