Gigabyte is expanding its OLED gaming monitor lineup once again, this time with a streamlined 240 Hz model. Dubbed the GO27Q24, it features a 27-inch QD-OLED panel with 2,560 × 1,440 resolution and 400 nits HDR peak brightness. The panel seems to be the same Gen 3 QD-OLED used in the Philips Evnia 27M2N6501L, which recently launched in the UK for £399, hinting that Gigabyte’s new monitor could hit a similarly budget-friendly price point.
As mentioned, the Gigabyte GO27Q24 sports a 27-inch panel with a 2,560 × 1,440 native resolution. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and offers a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, so games and movies should look fantastic with vibrant colors and deep blacks. The only catch is that it doesn’t get as bright as some recent OLEDs, like the MSI MAG 271QP QD-OLED X24 (curr: $419.99 at Amazon), which can hit 1,000 nits in HDR. That said, it’s still capable of delivering true HDR, though it might not be the best pick for very bright rooms.
Other features include a 240 Hz refresh rate and a lightning-fast 0.03 ms response time, making it ideal for competitive gamers. It also packs exclusive extras like Tactical Switch 2.0, which lets you toggle between different display sizes and aspect ratios, plus a black boost feature and night vision mode. On top of that, the monitor comes with a fully adjustable stand, a three-year OLED warranty, and a solid selection of ports, including a DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C with DP Alt Mode and 15W charging.
