LG has released plenty of OLED gaming monitors this year, most recently with the UltraGear OLED 27GX704A in September. Unsurprisingly, many are now on sale globally, including the UltraGear OLED 45GX950A with a 5K2K resolution. While LG's first 5K2K gaming monitor still retails at around $1,500, its 1440p sibling can now be picked up for over $550 less during Black Friday.
For context, the UltraGear OLED 45GX900A landed in February with a $1,699 MSRP. However, LG released the monitor for $1,299 in the US before taking away this discount throughout most of the summer. Then last month, the monitor UltraGear OLED 45GX900A found itself on sale for around $999. Now, Amazon US, Best Buy and LG have dropped their prices by another $100. As a result, one can now pick up a 1440p and 240 Hz WOLED gaming monitor with 0.03 ms GtG response times for less than $900 in the US.
At the time of writing, Amazon US is running the greatest discount thanks to its $896 list pricing. Best Buy and LG are only a few dollars behind, though. As the image above shows, LG has included plenty of ports too, including a USB Type-C port that supports 65 W Power Delivery. The UltraGear OLED 45GX900A also runs webOS, meaning that one can access video and game streaming services without needing an external device connected. Please see Amazon US, Best Buy and LG for more details.
