The Aqara Hub M200 is now available worldwide. This smart home device was unveiled at IFA in September 2025. It was introduced as a multifunctional smart home hub, with the ability to act as a Matter controller, a Matter bridge or a Thread border router.
As a Matter controller, users can connect devices from other brands to the Hub M200, supporting over 50 types of products. This allows linked products to be remotely controlled via the Aqara Home app. Alternatively, you could also add the Aqara device to other smart home ecosystems like Apple Home, Google Home or Home Assistant. As a Thread border router, it can connect to other smart speakers and hubs, and its mesh extending functionality allows you to enhance the coverage and stability of your Thread network.
On top of this, Aqara’s Hub M200 is a 360° infrared (IR) blaster. It can connect to some IR-controlled air conditioners, which could therefore be intelligently controlled with an Aqara Climate Sensor. The smart home hub supports dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, and can be powered via USB-C or Power over Ethernet (PoE). It also has a built-in speaker and can be mounted on the wall or ceiling, or placed on a table. This is a round device with a black casing, measuring 3.96 x 1.21 inches (~100.5 x 30.75 mm).
You can now buy the Aqara Hub M200 at the brand’s online store in the US for $59.99. At Amazon in the UK, the product retails for £59.99. In EU countries like Spain and France, it is €59.99, while in the Netherlands and Germany, it is more expensive at €69.99.
