The specifications of the 2025 Hisense U7 Series MiniLED 4K Google TVs have been officially confirmed. This model was revealed in March 2025 and became available to pre-order in the US in April. However, several sources were reporting different information regarding panel types and local dimming zones.
In a recent report, Display Specifications has shared the official specifications of the 2025 U7, also known as U75QG. These are said to have been confirmed by the Hisense USA team. This model is available in the following sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, 100-inch and 116-inch.
The smallest 55-inch U75QG has an IPS-ADS Pro display, while the other sizes feature VA panels. Typically, IPS-ADS Pro technology delivers worse contrast but better viewing angles compared to the equivalent VA panel. As for local dimming zones, these are listed below:
- Hisense 55U75QG - 1,260 local dimming zones
- Hisense 65U75QG - 1,800 local dimming zones
- Hisense 75U75QG - 2,340 local dimming zones
- Hisense 85U75QG - 2,940 local dimming zones
- Hisense 100U75QG - 2,304 local dimming zones
- Hisense 116U75QG - 3,168 local dimming zones
Hisense’s U75QG TV is a 4K Mini LED model with a native 165Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. It supports IMAX Enhanced, Filmmaker Mode and Dolby Vision IQ, and the Google TV interface brings access to many popular streaming apps. Gaming features include Game Accelerator 288Hz, Game Mode Ultra with 165Hz and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification. Plus, there are integrated 2.1.2 channel speakers, a range of ports including HDMI 2.1, and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
