Huawei has released the new Smart Screen Mate TV Max in China. The Mate TV and Mate TV Pro models were launched in this country in September 2025, in sizes ranging from 65 to 98 inches.
The Mate TV Max is a 110-inch Mini-LED model, with a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) resolution and a native 120 Hz refresh rate. The product listing states that the Super MiniLED TV delivers up to 6,000 nits of HDR peak brightness, with precise light controls enhancing image quality. This flagship model is also marketed with a 2,300:1 contrast ratio, and 125% coverage of the DCI-P3 91% coverage of the BT.2020 color spaces.
According to the company, the Mate TV Max is equipped with a “flagship mobile phone-grade chip” and offers various HarmonyOS AI features. It has a slim bezel, measuring 1.2 mm (~0.05 inches) thick, with Huawei indicating that it has a 99% screen-to-body ratio. This TV comes with an unusual touchpad-style remote, supporting gesture controls. Plus, it delivers 3.1.2 channel surround audio, with two 20W upward firing drivers and a 60W subwoofer, and ports include HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0 and S/PDIF.
In China, the Huawei Smart Screen Mate TV Max 110-inch is priced at CNY 64,999 (~$9,174). It remains to be seen whether or when this model could be released in Europe, where the brand already sells some products for the home, like the BE3 Pro Wi-Fi router (curr. €67.99 at Amazon DE).
