The Aqara Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 has been released in various countries globally. This 5-in-1 device can perform motion and motionless detection, and can also measure ambient light, humidity and temperature. It supports Zigbee, Thread and Matter, with a range of settings available through the brand’s app.

Aqara has launched the Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 in markets worldwide. This multifunctional smart home device can be used to detect five different things: presence, motion, light, temperature and humidity.

The Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 features PIR and 60Ghz mmWave radar sensors, allowing it to detect both moving and still humans. Aqara describes this technology as highly precise, without substantiating its claim. The sensor is said to have a 120° field of view (FOV) and a 6 m (~20 ft) range. Examples of how the device could be used include a detected presence switching on a smart light or a smart fan switching on when a specific room temperature is reached.

Aqara’s Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 supports Zigbee (hub required), Thread (Thread border router required), and Matter, making it compatible with a wide range of smart home ecosystems. It is a battery-powered device, running on two replaceable CR2450 batteries for around three years in Zigbee mode or two years in Thread mode. You can remotely manage the device through the Aqara app, adjusting factors like the sampling interval and detection range. The white product can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, and it measures 42 x 42 x 50 mm (~1.65 x 1.65 x 1.97 inches).

You can now buy the Aqara Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 in countries like the US, the UK and Germany for $49.99/£49.99/€49.99 at Amazon or the brand’s online store. In the UK, customers who purchase at the Aqara Shop will get a free wall bracket and screw fix kit with their purchase.
