The GuliKit KK2T is not a brand-new controller, but the gaming accessory is now widely available via Banggood. The price is $39.99 plus shipping. Delivery is expected to take several weeks, but no import duties should apply to European customers. If there are some problems with the controller, communication with the Chinese seller and actually enforcing warranty claims might be difficult.
TMR prevents stick drift
This is a controller that basically has the traditional Xbox layout, which means the two analog sticks are not at the same height. The two joysticks utilize the TMR effect and therefore do not sport traditional potentiometers, which means that stick drift shouldn’t be an issue. Additionally, even subtle movements should be detected precisely. The KK2T also has state-of-the-art triggers that are based on the Hall effect.
Up to 1,000Hz
As usual, the controller also has a d-pad, action buttons and an additional menu button. A gyroscope is included as well. What’s missing are extra buttons on the back that would let gamers trigger actions without taking their finger off the joysticks. That said, the controller supports the so-called autopilot gaming, which allows users to record and use macros. Thanks to an NFC module, Amiibos can also be activated. The wireless mode is supposed to last up to 25 hours on a full charge. Alternatively, the wired mode offers a higher polling rate of 1,000Hz instead of 160Hz via Bluetooth.
