Xiaomi is continuing its slow rollout of its latest slim-form-factor power bank. For context, the Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 debuted way back in May but only in China. Then early this month, Xiaomi quietly released the device in Spain while adding support pages across France, Italy and the UK.
Initially, Xiaomi priced the Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 at €21.99 (~$25). However, that price has now ballooned by almost 60% to €34.99 (~$40). At the same time, Xiaomi is now offering the same power bank in Germany and Italy with the same pricing despite different VAT rates existing among the three countries.
Xiaomi advertises the Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 in four colour options, as the image below shows. Only the black variant has reached the Eurozone at the time of writing, though. Setting that aside, the power bank contains over a dozen magnets to prevent even large smartphones like the iPhone 17 Pro Max or the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL (curr. $899 on Amazon) from budging even when holding the power bank directly.
Moreover, the Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 boasts a 5,000 mAh battery with 15 W wireless charging capabilities, although its capacity may deplete to around 80% after just 300 cycles. Not only can this battery recharge a device wirelessly, but it can also deliver up to 22 W of wired power via a built-in USB Type-C port. Xiaomi wraps all this hardware, as well as temperature sensors to prevent overheating, in a 122 g housing that measures 102 x 69.6 x 8.7 mm to provide compatibility with most modern smartphones.
