BMX (Better Mobile Xperience), a smartphone accessories manufacturer, has unveiled its latest magnetic power bank, the SolidSafe, in the global market. Unlike other power banks with lithium-ion and polymer batteries, the company’s new SolidSafe power bank features next-generation solid-state battery cells. According to the company, these cells can effectively reduce the risk of fire, overheating, or catastrophic failure compared to the traditional ones.
Interestingly, the company offers the SolidSafe power bank in three battery capacities, including 5,000, 10,000, and 10,000 mAh with a micro-SD card slot. BMX’s magnetic power bank is a relatively compact device, measuring 102.7 x 68 x 18.9 mm (4 x 2.6 x 0.74 inches) and weighing around 209 grams (0.46 lbs).
Speaking of power output, the power bank offers Qi2 15 W fast magnetic wireless charging output and 30 W via a built-in USB-C lanyard cable. Plus, users can also use the USB-C cable for data transfer. Furthermore, there’s a full-color LCD display that shows real-time battery percentage, wattage, and status. On top of that, it's compatible with everything from the iPhone (17/16/15/14/13/12 series) and the Samsung S24/S25 (curr. available at $650 on Amazon) series to the Google Pixel 9/8/7 series and other USB-C PD or Qi2-compatible smartphones.
Available in black, orange, blue, and silver color options, the BMX SolidSafe power bank starts at $79 for the 5K, while the 10K and 10K + microSD variants are priced at $99 and $129, respectively. Both the 5K and 10K are now available via BMX’s official website, while the microSD model will be available from February 2026.
