We reported on the Revolution X Unlimited (article in German only) from Nacon last year, a very well-equipped gaming controller that comes with a display. This allows various and quite extensive settings to be made directly on the controller without the need for dedicated software. Different profiles are also supported.
Nacon is now offering the Revolution X Unlimited in a special edition to mark the Xbox anniversary. The Nacon Xbox Controller Revolution X Unlimited Anniversary Edition also comes in a matching color scheme. It is white and reminiscent of the Xbox 360. According to the manufacturer, it is compatible with the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PC and Android devices, but not with the PlayStation 5. The controller can be pre-ordered for $199/£179, but customers will have to wait until February 16 for delivery.
Furthermore, the controller offers several hardware-level customization options, allowing you to shorten the trigger travel and switch to microswitches. Six additional shortcut buttons are available, enabling you to trigger keyboard keys in PC mode, which is a significant advantage in less-than-optimized video games. A 2.4 GHz connection is supported and latency can be reduced to one millisecond when using a wired connection. Lastly, the joysticks and triggers utilize the Hall effect and their weight is adjustable.
