Alldocube has introduced yet another new tablet, the iPlay 70 Max Pro. It's an affordable offering, with the launch price in Japan being JPY 29,999, which is around $191.
The tablet is powered by the Unisoc S715, a mid-range SoC that comes with an eight-core configuration. Alldocube claims that this SoC can offer an AnTuTu benchmark score of 650,000, which falls within the same range as the Dimensity 1080, the processor powering phones like the Redmi Note 12 Pro.
This Unisoc chipset also has a Mali G57 MC2 GPU, and it's paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. As Alldocube highlights, users have the option to expand the storage through the microSD card, which can hold up to a 512 GB card (Samsung EVO Select curr. $32.99 on Amazon).
Another highlight of the iPlay 70 Max Pro is the display. It's a 13-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1600x2560 pixels. The company says that the panel can offer rich colors, and there's support for Widevine L1, making the tablet a good pick for media streaming.
Speaking of which, the iPlay 70 Max Pro has an 8-speaker setup, which promises to deliver immersive audio. Alldocube further notes that the desktop mode of the tablet is optimized for productivity and speed. Users can also attach a keyboard to the device through the Pogo Pin and use a USI 2.0 active stylus pen.
Other highlights of the affordable tablet include an 8 MP selfie shooter on the front, a 13 MP rear camera, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G support with dual-sim standby, a sleek design, and a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging. Alldocube has yet to announce when the iPlay 70 Max Pro will be available globally, but it should make an international debut soon.
