Earlier today, Xiaomi revealed that the Poco Pad X1 would be joining the Poco F8 series next week during a global launch event. As it teased yesterday, the Poco F8 series will start with Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra successors. In other words, the standard Poco F7 will remain in place once the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra go on sale.
Now, the company has confirmed that a fourth device will be joining the Poco F8 Pro, Poco F8 Ultra and Poco Pad X1 on November 26. The device in question is the Poco Pad M1, which rumours suggest is a re-branded Redmi Pad 2 Pro (curr. $369.99 on Amazon). While Xiaomi is unlikely to explicitly link the two devices, it has already outlined a few Poco Pad M1 specifications.
For instance, the company has revealed the inclusion of a 12,000 mAh battery just like the Redmi Pad 2 Pro before it. In another similarity with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, Xiaomi's teaser also confirms the new Poco Pad leverages a 12.1-inch display with a 2.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the Poco Pad M1 even features the same camera housing and overall design as the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. At this stage, the main difference between the Poco Pad M1 and its Redmi Pad sibling is the former's new blue colour option.
