Abxylute has confirmed the final specs for its upcoming 3D One handheld gaming PC during an AMA on its Discord server. The device is launching this November on Kickstarter.
The 3D One is derived from the Tencent Sunday Dragon prototype shown earlier this year at CES 2025. The handheld PC uses a 10.95-inch, 120 Hz, 2,560 x 1,600 3D LCD display, along with a 180 Hz eye tracking camera, to display three-dimensional images, games, and movies.
The handheld is powered by an 8C/8T Intel Core Ultra 7 258V CPU, 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 2280 SSD running Windows 11 Home. The system has three power modes. In its highest performance mode, the TDP is set at 30 watts while the system runs off a 50 Wh (nominal) li-ion battery.
The 3D One also comes with Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, 2W stereo speakers, a 5 MP webcam, a 1 MP Windows Hello camera, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB-C port, a Thunderbolt port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot.
The PC can display 3D games natively or display 2D game images in 3D in real-time using its conversion software. The company must individually examine the game engine of each title to properly enable the 3D effect and expects to have 50 top games reviewed by launch.
For other sources, such as movies and images, a single press of the 3D button on the tablet can enable AI 2D-to-3D auto-conversion. The 3D display software will continue to be tuned after launch to include more game titles.
Although the Thunderbolt port enables eGPU support, the company confirmed that conversion of 2D graphics from the eGPU into 3D is currently not possible but is under investigation.
Abxylute is offering VIPs who place a $150 deposit before the campaign the chance to receive the 3D One for $1299, a $200 savings off the $1499 Kickstarter price, along with a free Abxylute C6 wireless game controller.
Exact numbers have not been finalized, but around 80 units could be shipped this year as the first batch, while the remainder of promised units will be shipped in a second batch in the first months of 2026. Interested readers can sign up here.
