Abxylute has previewed its upcoming 3D One PC gaming handheld that can display games in true 3D without glasses.
The 3D One leverages Tencent Games' 3D display technology, which was previewed in an 11-inch handheld shown at CES 2025, named the Sunday Dragon. The 3D One uses an eye-tracking camera to display 3D images correctly to the user. This is similar to the technology used by Acer for years in its SpatialLabs products (such as this 3D model sold on Amazon).
The company states it has optimized the top fifty games on Steam for 3D play, but has not yet announced these titles. The 3D One can also add depth to any game, photo, or video instantly through its on-board AI depth processing engine, according to Abxylute.
The 3D One supports several modes of use. In handheld mode, two controllers can be attached to the side of the PC and the entire unit can be handled like a Nintendo Switch during gaming. The controllers come with standard sticks, buttons, and triggers, along with touchpads. In detached mode, a kickstand in the back of the tablet allows it to stand upright on a table while the dual controllers can be used for wireless play as two individual controllers or connected together as a single unit.
Like a Surface Pro or OneXPlayer tablet PC, the 3D One can have an optional keyboard attached for use as a laptop. Without a keyboard or controllers attached, the 3D One works like a tablet.
The Abxylute 3D One is scheduled for launch in late September or early October 2025.
