About a month has passed since Ayaneo first showcased a whole host of new gaming handhelds. Of those that the company announced, the Pocket DS is the only one that it has since released. However, it looks like the Pocket Fit will not be far behind.
As we have covered previously, Ayaneo plans to sell the Pocket Fit under its Konkr brand. Positioned as being more budget-oriented than existing Ayaneo Pocket devices, the first Konkr-branded handheld may not actually cost that much less than the Pocket DS that Ayaneo has priced at $399. On top of that, the Pocket Fit is theoretically more powerful than the Pocket DS too, thanks to the former's usage of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset.
In other words, the Pocket Fit will be powerful than the Pocket S and Pocket EVO too (curr. $459 on Amazon). Nonetheless, Ayaneo has now confirmed that the Pocket Fit will start for less than $369. Unfortunately, the company has not been more specific than that. Instead, it has hinted that more information will be revealed during a 'live sharing session' at 07:00 UTC on August 23.
